Plantation Mansion™

You slowly walk around the front entry way of Plantation Mansion™ as the streams in through high arching windows that remind you of something you would see in a cathedral. The oversized double-door entry stretches to a height over double your size. There is a big open area and then far across from the stain-glass, etched doors is the grand stairway. The ceiling here must be thirty feet high, at least!

The elegant chandelier, right over your head (no matter where you stand), is the biggest, most beautiful one you have ever seen. The sparkles and reflects from the chandelier creating prismatic color patterns all around you!

Just to the right of entry doors (their size still overwhelms you) is a huge mirror. The wooden frame encasing the mirror is carved with what looks to be the family’s history of activities. Like the photos in the hallway, there are many images of racing horses, manes flowing in the wind as they race.

From the top of the grand stairway, an ornate Oak railing rings an open area of the second floor. That overlook, you are sure would provide a great panoramic view of this entry way. And, that overlook provides a glimpse of the grandeur of what is upstairs.

From where you stand, you can see the hallway going behind the grand stairway. You can also see the entry way into the living room. The sitting room is to your left and the study is over off to your right.

You think about heading down the hallway leading to the back of the mansion.

You also think about heading out the front door to the front porch of Plantation Mansion™.

Of course, the sitting room looks interesting, quite interesting, indeed.

There is also the study where you could go have a look/see.

Time to decide ...
