It is all really starting to look the same in this forest of Weeping Willows and Morton Bay Fig trees. You keep tripping over the roots and you’re getting tired from wandering aimlessly in these balmy hours

While this is definitely an adventure, you want it to be over with. You try to remain calm, but there are definitely twinges of panic setting in more often now!

The twisted and tangled roots sprawling on the ground all around you, make it harder and harder to “hop your way along.” That’s probably because you’re tired. And, now you realize that you’d like a drink of water. Your mind is wandering and you start to blink more. You’re feeling more confused and not sure which way to turn next , ... all of this is going on in your mind (that conversation you’re having with yourself) as you continue to leap from root to root.

Suddenly, you are sitting down. Not sure how that happened, you think about which way to head once you get back up.

If you go forward (if that really is forward), you sense you might find the canyon.

Go backward (if that really is backward now), you might be able to retrace your steps.

Going left, could lead to the way out?

What about right (if that truly would be going right)?

Time to decide ...
