Plantation Mansion™

The living room in Plantation Mansion™, like the rest of this incredible house, is perfection. The lush, plush tan carpeting swallows up your shoes. The earth tone furniture invites you to sit down. As with the rest of the house, large windows let in the all around you! Yet, there are Victorian touches throughout this amazingly large room that harken back to a time when this really was the central focal point of a plantation.

As you are “taking it all in” in this enormous room, the 12-foot tall grandfather clock chimes the hour for one and all to hear. There is a glistening piece of modern art that arches up high in one corner of the room with beads of water gently falling down into a bluish pool of water with lotus blossoms. The large paintings on the interior walls look to be from Europe, most certainly painted by Dutch masters.

The indirect lighting in the vaulted ceiling highlight frescos that cover every square inch! You keep looking up, turning your head until you get a kink in your neck. This is such an amazing room!

You think about heading back to the Lanai Room.

You could zip out the monster glass door to the Mansion terrace.

The sitting room on the other side of the living room looks inviting. Maybe you’ll head that way.

Of course, there is always the hallway leading to the main entry at the front of the house, where the grand stairway to the upstairs room commands your attention!

Time to decide ...
