Your EverReady flashlight cuts out for a minute. Your heart skips a beat. You hear yourself say, “Crap!” But, then the light beam comes back on, seemingly stronger than ever! Just as this happens, you see a tall dark figure running down the cavernous opening to your right ... it looks like a big area in that direction. You decide to give chase, but there is no sign of the figure in the big open area where you now stand. The ground is all rock here and slippery.

You decide to head back to where you first saw the figure. When you get there, you look around. There is a gigantic opening in the rock floor, with a staircase along the wall winding its way downward. There is a very thick mist as you point the light beam downward, so you really can’t tell how far the stairs descend.

Is it still you wonder? For now, all that matters is finding the way out..

Here are your options:

Head down the winding stairs that disappear into the mist.

Go back to the cavernous area where you saw the tall figure.

Go straight though yet another opening that twists and turns.

Head back from where you came, if you can find your way in the winding pathways.

Time to decide ...
