You wander a ways in the cave, shining your EverReady flashlight this way and that way. Everything looks the same and there is no way to get your bearings. You’re beginning to wonder if you’ll ever get out of here.

You follow the cave until it comes to a cavernous opening where you can see way up into the darkness itself. There have been many fires made here. You wonder where the smoke would have gone with such fires.

The mist in the air causes your EverReady flashlight to cast a sharp but eerie beam of light. Without any outside light,  you can’t even tell if it is still . That, of course, if the least of your worries right now.

You gotta get outta this place!

You can go straight.

Or, back from where you came.

You noticed that there are indentations in the rock walls so you could climb up one of the walls into the darkness.

There is also one other opening off to your left that you could wander into.

Time to decide ...
