As you enter the rose garden you are pleasantly overwhelmed by an abundance of colors, along with so many different scents. There are so many rose beds - row after row of them. Then you notice there are also patterns of roses carefully arranged . You wonder what it might look like from high above. The patterns are intricate with so many different colors all blending in together.

You thought you had seen a tiny, shadowy figure from a distance, but now you see no one. What is most impressive here is how well tending this rose garden is. Whomever is taking care of really knows what they are doing. And, it is obvious much love and care has gone into tending each and every rose bush.

You truly are experiencing sensory overload, but it is such a delight. You’re tempted to start picking roses, but then you have a couple of thoughts. Why pluck any rose from any bush when they are so incredibly beautiful all together in the ? Also, you can now see the biggest thorns you have ever seen on any rose bush ... and LOTS of them, so “picking a rose” might result in severe pain. And, well, gosh, you don’t happen to have any clippers on you.

Suddenly you see the tiny, shadowy figure again, who just now stood up (probably from having knelt to tend the soil around the roses). The figure is still pretty far from you, but it is moving slightly back and forth like it is looking closely back at you. Then the figure motions for you to come over that way.

You pause for a moment as you decide which way to go.

You could head over to the shadowy figure to see what’s going on. Actually, your curiosity is really UP at this point.

Of course, you could turn and head towards the well-manicured lawn area to your left. There is still quite a bit of the rose garden to pass through that you haven’t seen up close yet.

You’re still intrigued by the hedge maze off to your right, so you could head that way, if you want.

And, too, there is always the option to head back to the terrace at the back of the manion. And, once you got to the terrace, you could easily wander inside the mansion for a look/see.
