Now that you are standing in this area of the ancient ruins you start “putting the pieces together” and realize, based on what you see, that these particular ruins were both a temple AND an observatory. Somehow you just know that this observatory was “powered” by harnessing the vapors coming off the hundreds of small ponds of water in what was once cotton fields for Plantation Mansion™ ... in fact, with the conditions in the right now, it wouldn’t surprise you to see just how this all works.

No sooner did you think that than did you start seeing vapors rising from the hundreds and hundreds of circular ponds in the abandoned cotton fields. The vapors created a singular shaft comprised of, well, to you it looks like mist bound together almost like a laser beam of some sort ... a bluish, glowing sort of, kind of, maybe laser beam. The beam struck the only standing wall (almost as if that wall was never going to crumble from its strategic position. Anyway, you now watch as the blue beam of light is refracted off crystals embedded in the walls in dozens of shimmering streaks of light that, in turn, lit up just about all of the crystals on the ground. It was obvious all of the crystals were not in the right position, but enough of them were to display the illusion of some sort of telescope.

You stand there for a minute amazed by all of this ... then is occurs to you that you should look through the telescope. When you place your eye next to illusionary telescope you instantly know that this is no telescope, but instead a way to peer into alternate universes. The first thing you see is a magnificent white stallion, seemingly galloping towards you. You pull back from looking through the telescope (or whatever it is) just to make sure the enormous horse truly isn’t charging towards you ... he isn’t ... so you again look through the telescope ... over the course of several minutes you see many different visions, all of which you are sure from different dimensions, or places, or spaces in time, just as where you are standing could easily be one of them.

You realize now that most of what is happening in these ancient ruins is because of you standing there. Again, somehow you this to be true ... that it takes human interaction for all of this to happen. Sudden, the sky clouds over and the illusion and blue light beam disappear ... you wonder for a moment if it all wasn’t just your imagination, but there is no time for that, because you want to have more of a look around.

Off in front of you is the pathway to the rim of the canyon.

Between you and the pathway is the Amphitheater.

You think about going back to the open area where the Tower of Babel like structure stood.

But you are most intrigued by the thin red line that has appeared out of nowhere, just on the other side of the Tower of Babel structure rubble.

Time to decide ...
