Entering the maze, you realize right away just how much higher the hedge is - all around you, so much so that you feel a twinge of claustrophobia. You take a deep breath and continue straight in .

You pause for a moment and then turn right. This is your only option ... other than running as fast as you can back out the way you came in (while you still can find your way out). But something tells you to continue on.

You walk a ways and the go left, left which is basically making 180 degree turn. You walk further into the heart of the maze, having no idea what to expect next. The height of the hedge is getting your nerves somewhat, but you continue on.

You take another right and then another right. Hmmmmmm. Another 180 degree turn. It seems you are zig-zagging your way further into the maze.

Next you go left, left. Another 180 degree turn! You feel you still could retrace your steps to find your way back out, but you don’t want to do that ... not just yet anyway.

Then you turn right. It is your only option, but it goes nowhere except right to a high hedge wall. You turn around and walk back to where you just came from and then you take another right, which would have been your left before you hit the dead end.

That takes you to a point where you are now faced with going left or right. At this point you can still try to retrace your steps to leave the maze, but, after a quick mental conference with yourself, you vote against that.

So, your only choices are to go left or right.

Time to decide ...
