Standing in front of the horse stable of Plantation Mansion™ you realize how much bigger the stable is than it looked from further away. The length of stable didn’t appear too expansion, but now you can just how far it goes. But the amazing aspect of the stable area is the depth of it, just how far back it goes. Why, there is room for dozens of horses here ... and probably race horses, too.

Upon walking behind the stable, you see that there are rows and rows of stables. This is a “serious business” kind of horse stable. And, though everything appears to be “locked up tight” with no horses to be found, you discover paint cans and refurbishing materials. You think to yourself, “They must be completely remodeling these stables.”

The stables are all white, vintage 1920s architecture, complete with weathervanes atop each building. The weathervanes have a prancing horse that spins with the North, South, East, and West pointers. You see lots of fresh tire tracks in the dirt and grass areas so there obviously has been a flurry of activity, probably to transport the horses somewhere else while all of the carpentry work and painting goes on.

You cup your hand to your face as you peek in several different paned windows ... yea, this is all definitely from the early 1900s when horse racing in this area was king. You see photos on the walls of proud jockeys standing next to beautiful thoroughbreds draped with flowers around their necks ... along with other people, one of whom would be holding a large trophy.

Just as you are wandering around the far back side of the last row of stables, you see this magnificent white horse. This is the most beautiful, striking, fine-looking creature you have ever seen. Where could he have come from? Why is he the only horse left here? And, why is he running loose?

The stallion approaches you. You notice black markings on his side as he cautiously stops short of getting too close to you. You put your hand out towards him, as if to pat him on the nose (he is that close now as he inches towards you). Suddenly, this magnificent white stallion (the biggest horse you have ever seen now that he is right in front of you) rears up on his hind legs. Before you have time to freak out or be afraid, you see that he is moving backwards on his hind legs. It is almost as if he wanted to show you his power while demonstrating that he won’t hurt you.

Just as you are contemplating all of this, you notice the black marking on his side seem to be moving and repositioning themselves. You can now read the word, “Reason” on his side. As you hear yourself say out loud the word, “Reason,” the horse approaches you and kneels on his front legs ... you realize he wants you to go for a ride.

You look around for a moment and think about that to do next.

weather vane ... room for dozens of horses ... raciing horses ... horse trailers around the back side ... lots of hay stacked near the white fences (that line the property every which way) ...

What should you do next?

Get on Reason’s back?

Head over to the Mansion’s garage?

Head over to the fountain area?

Go to the Plantation Mansion™ front porch?

Time to decide ...
